Tender Pot Roast with Marinated Pork Ribs and Potatoes

Delicious aromatic pot roast with the most tender ribs! Roast in pots prepared in this way turns out very tasty, for me personally, even tastier than cooked in the usual way — without frying the potatoes.)) And if you cook this roast with ribs in a marinade (as I bought this time), then it will turn out more aromatic and spicy. In any case, it will be very tasty!

Thaw the ribs (if frozen) and cut into pieces.

Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces (not too small).

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the onion and chop.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater.

Step 6

Step 6
Fry the ribs until golden brown. If the ribs were without marinade, then at this stage they need to be salted and peppered.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the ribs in the pots WITHOUT excess oil, otherwise the potatoes will turn out very greasy.

Step 8

Step 8
Passivate onions and carrots in vegetable oil, add tomato sauce. When sauteing, try to use a minimum of oil, all for the same reason — so that the potatoes do not end up being too greasy.

Step 10

Step 10
Fry the potatoes over high heat until half cooked, add salt and pepper.

Step 11

Step 11

Step 12

Step 12
Also place the potatoes in pots and pour 200 ml of broth into each pot. Next, add boiled water to the required volume — so that the broth is slightly visible from under the potatoes.

Step 13

Step 13
Place the pots on a wire rack and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. oven, bake for 40 minutes. Just in case, insert a roasting pan under the grate with pots — it may start to boil over. After the roast is ready, you can take it out, stir it and enjoy a delicious, aromatic and juicy dish. Bon appetit!
