Water 2 l
Potato 2 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil 20 g
Dry spices to taste
Vermicelli 50 g
Turkey drumstick 500 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to cook turkey leg soup? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. If the drumstick is frozen, remove it from the freezer in advance and leave it at room temperature for several hours to thaw. Vegetables — onions, carrots and potatoes, peel and rinse in running water to remove dirt.

Step 2

Step 2
Place the drumstick in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil. When boiling, foam will form, which must be removed. Boil the drumstick in boiling water for an hour. Then remove the drumstick from the water and separate the meat from the bone. Return the meat back to the broth, bring to a boil and add the chopped potatoes. Cook everything together for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3
While the potatoes are boiling, grate the carrots on a medium grater and finely chop the onion.

Step 4

Step 4
Heat the frying pan until hot, pour a little vegetable oil on it and add chopped vegetables — onions and carrots. Fry everything together for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the finished roast to the pan with the soup. Add a little salt and spices to taste.

Step 5

Step 5
Add vermicelli at the end of cooking and cook for another 3-5 minutes. It cooks very quickly, but you shouldn’t overcook it, otherwise the vermicelli will boil.

Step 6

Step 6
Remove the finished soup from the heat. If desired, you can add a little chopped dill. It pleasantly complements the aroma of the finished soup.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour the finished soup into prepared bowls and serve. Bon appetit!
