Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to properly cook beef bone broth? Itʼs not difficult at all. Prepare all the necessary products. Wash the celery, onion, and garlic thoroughly and set aside. Tubular marrow and sugar bones are suitable for cooking. I have a fetlock joint, or, as it is also called, a fetlock joint. Rinse the meat and dry with a towel.

Step 2

Step 2
Take a baking dish, place the meat and place in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. The product processed in this way loses its specific odor, and excess fat is also rendered out. It can be collected and used for frying.

Step 3

Step 3
Fill the cooled beef with water and place on the stove. Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. This will help all the nutrients penetrate the liquid. Bring the broth to a boil, remove the resulting foam with a slotted spoon, and reduce the gas. How long does it take to cook beef bone broth? Simmer it over medium heat for 12 hours without a lid. If necessary, you can add water so that the bones are completely immersed in water.

Step 4

Step 4
An hour before the end of cooking, add whole heads of onion and garlic, celery stalks, carrots, peppercorns, allspice, and bay leaves into the broth. I also added coriander seeds and a sprig of rosemary, I really like their aroma. Simmer the broth uncovered over medium heat for about 1 hour.

Step 5

Step 5
Strain the finished broth. You should have about 2 liters of bone broth. Pour it into containers and put it in the freezer. This way it can be stored for no more than 6 months. And in the refrigerator — no more than 5 days. You can make puree soup from vegetables or add them to jellied meat. Read at the end of the recipe how you can use bone broth.

Beef bone broth is ready. Bon appetit!
