Seafood Tomato Delight

This is the most delicious soup I have ever eaten in my life! Be sure to cook! When I started eating it, I didn’t even imagine that by the end of the plate I would have a desire to eat a spoon with my fingers. I wanted to repeat it, but the soup turned out to be filling. The second desire that arose — to urgently share with someone, treated my grandmother — history repeated itself. In general, if you don’t try this soup, your life will be in vain :)) I’m serious. You can take any seafood.

Ingredients (2 portions)

Basic:

Garlic 1 clove
Chilli (for the base with tomatoes, I took ground, you can proportionally replace them with capsicum) to taste
Tomatoes (medium size) 4 pc
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper (for seafood) 0.25 tsp
Ground coriander (for the tomato base) 0.25 tsp
Lemon juice (to drizzle seafood I use fresh lemon) 1 tbsp
Water 1 cup
Hard cheese (It is important that the cheese melts. I cook with suluguni cheese) 50 g
Bulb onions (small/medium size, preferably red onion, if using white, better use a small onion) 1 pc
Dry spices (for the base with tomatoes, any dry herbs, I took a mixture of “Italian herbs”: basil, oregano, thyme, chili) 2 tsp
Greenery (for decoration, it’s ideal to take basil, but I didn’t have it in the store — I successfully replaced it with parsley) to taste
Squid 50 g
Carnation (for the base with tomatoes, you can take clove powder — on the tip of a knife) 2 pc
Mussels 50 g

Recipe instructions

Take the prepared ingredients. We wash the tomatoes and herbs, peel the onions, and defrost the seafood. Heat the water — you need the water to be boiled at the moment when we pour the tomato base into the pan.

Three tomatoes on a grater. Remove the peel.

You will get this consistency.

We cut the onion into rings, not necessarily thinly, as we will then grind it in a blender.

We put everything in a pan, salt it, add spices for the base (see notes). Can be sweetened to remove acidity.

Finely chop the garlic.

Fry garlic and black pepper in oil in a frying pan or in a ladle, add seafood and a pinch of salt.

The base and seafood can be cooked in 2 containers at the same time. The tomatoes are boiled for about 20 minutes, the seafood is fried over low heat for about 15 minutes. Be sure to stir the seafood so it doesn’t burn.

When the oil starts to bubble, the seafood is ready.

Place in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice 30 seconds after removing from heat.
