Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Letʼs prepare the ingredients for the soup. We sort through, wash the greens, vegetables, cut off the ends of cucumbers and radishes. Boil hard-boiled eggs, cool, peel. Boil or bake beef or other meat the day before. You can use ham or not use meat products at all; they are an additional ingredient in this recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
We start by finely chopping the sorrel.

Step 3

Step 3
Then pour it into a saucepan, add water, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for no more than 7 minutes. Remove from heat, cool.

Step 4

Step 4
Finely chop the green onions and dill.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour the chopped onion into a deep plate or bowl, add a couple of pinches of salt and mash with a fork. The onion will give juice, and the characteristic sharp onion taste will go away, which will then not be felt while eating.

Step 6

Step 6
Grate the cucumbers and radishes on a medium grater (or you can chop them finely).

Step 7

Step 7
Finely chop the boiled eggs and meat (or ham), if you add it.

Step 8

Step 8
Add the onion and salt to the pan with the cooled sorrel, add sugar, and mix thoroughly.

Step 9

Step 9
Now pour in kefir, squeeze the garlic through a press, add all the chopped products, mix. Letʼs taste it. If there is not enough salt, add to taste.

Step 10

Step 10
Thatʼs it, the refrigerator is ready! Pour the soup into bowls. You can put a spoonful of sour cream on each plate. This soup goes well with boiled potatoes. Bon appetit!
