Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make coffee with cinnamon? Prepare your ingredients. Take your favorite type of coffee at the roast level you like best. You can use already ground coffee, or take coffee beans and grind them into dust in a special coffee grinder. In the second option, the drink will be more aromatic, because the freshly ground grain has not yet had time to weather. Take clean drinking water, without any foreign tastes. Adjust the amount of cinnamon and sugar to your taste

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the Turk with hot water and place on low heat to dry and warm up. In a hot Turk, the aroma of coffee powder will develop faster.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour 2 tsp into the cezve (the eastern name for the Turks). with a heap of ground coffee and place on low heat. Heat the coffee powder for 1 minute.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour ground cinnamon and sugar into the Turk, pour in clean cold water and stir with a special coffee spoon with a long handle. I have a large Turk, for two 150 ml servings of drink. The cezve should not be filled to the brim, but to the narrow part of the neck, because after boiling the coffee begins to foam and rise strongly. If the Turk is filled to the brim, then some of the coffee will simply flow out of it.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the cezve over low heat and bring the coffee to a boil. When the drink boils and the foam begins to rise from the Turk, wait until it almost reaches the edge and quickly remove it from the heat. After this, you can let the coffee brew for a couple of minutes and pour into cups. But I repeat the boiling procedure 2 more times: I let the foam settle a little and return the cezve to the fire. I bring it to a boil again and remove it from the heat again. Once again.

Step 6

Step 6
After this, pour the coffee into cups and serve. If you wish, you can add milk or cream to your coffee. Bon appetit!
