Basic:

Sugar 0.5 tsp
Wheat flour 200 g
Water 250 ml
Vanillin 1 g
Vegetable oil 1.5 tbsp
Baking powder 0.3 tsp
Chicken eggs 2 pc

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make thin pancakes with eggs and holes? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Beat chicken eggs (room temperature) into a deep bowl, add sugar. The amount of sugar can be adjusted to taste, but it is better not to add a lot of it, because otherwise the pancakes will start to burn quickly and stick to the pan. You will learn all the intricacies of making pancakes by reading the article on this topic at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Add a pinch of vanillin and salt. Using a whisk or mixer, beat the ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous mass with foam on the surface; thick foam is not needed to prepare the dough, the main thing is that the white of the chicken egg is completely dispersed.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour in hot water (but not boiling water), while at the same time using a whisk with your other hand, vigorously stir the mixture so that the chicken eggs do not overcook.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour the sifted flour combined with baking powder into a bowl of liquid. It is advisable to sift the flour several times to saturate the product with oxygen. Add flour in small portions, mix well each time so that the lumps break up and disperse in the dough more easily. You may need less or more flour, use consistency as a guide. Read about the properties of flour in the article at the end of the recipe.

Step 5

Step 5
The lumps of flour in the dough will disperse better, and the dough will become uniform in consistency, if the dough piece is left on the table for 15 minutes. And then beat the dough again with a mixer. Pour vegetable oil into the dough and mix. The dough should be liquid, then the pancakes will turn out thin and with holes. You can move on to frying pancakes.

Step 6

Step 6
It is better to use a special pancake pan or one with a non-stick coating for frying pancakes. For frying pans, read a separate article at the end of the recipe. Since we added vegetable oil to the dough, there is no need to add oil to the pan (except for the first pancake). Fry the pancakes over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. Remove the delicious, thin pancakes from the pan and serve. Bon appetit!
