Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 3 tbsp
Water (for cooking millet) 1.3 cup
Milk 0.5 cup
Pumpkin (peeled pulp) 350 g
Millet 100 g

Recipe instructions

Prepare the main ingredients for making porridge: peeled pumpkin pulp, bright yellow millet, milk, sugar, salt, water.

Place the pumpkin in a saucepan, add 1-2 tbsp. water, bring to a boil and cook over low heat until the pumpkin is soft (15 minutes).

Rinse the millet, pour boiling water over it, pour in 1.3 tbsp. water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes until the millet is completely cooked.

Puree the soft, finished pumpkin using a blender.

Combine pumpkin puree and prepared millet porridge, add sugar and salt.

Pour in hot milk. Stir. If you need more viscous porridge, add more milk as needed.
