Basic:

Salt 1 tsp
Pepper to taste
Sour cream 4 tbsp
Vegetable oil 1 tsp
Chicken fillet 800 g
loaf 120 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare all ingredients according to the list. It is better to take chicken fillet chilled, but if you still have a frozen product, then defrost it slowly in advance on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator — then the fillet will not become dry during cooking.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the fillets and dry with paper towels. Cut lengthwise into strips 1-1.5 cm thick.

Step 3

Step 3
Add salt and pepper to sour cream. Besides black pepper, you can use any spices you like with your chicken.

Step 4

Step 4
Marinate the fillets for at least 30 minutes. It’s even better if you can leave the chicken in the refrigerator for 2 hours or longer. The meat will only benefit from this: it will be saturated with spices and become very tender.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut the slightly dry (yesterdayʼs) unsweetened loaf into arbitrary pieces and grind in a blender.

Step 6

Step 6
You will end up with bread crumbs. It is much tastier than ready-made breadcrumbs. If desired, you can add your favorite spices and cheese.

Step 7

Step 7
Roll the marinated fillet pieces in bread crumbs.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the breaded fillet on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. You can cover the baking sheet with a special silicone baking mat (in this case, there is no need to grease the baking sheet). Donʼt forget to turn on the oven in advance so it has time to warm up. I set the desired temperature and usually wait 10-15 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Bake in a preheated oven at 190-200 degrees for about 25-30 minutes until lightly browned. During this time, the chicken will be ready and remain juicy. Please note that if you overcook the chicken, it will be a bit dry. At the end of cooking, you can move the baking sheet to the upper tier for 5-8 minutes to get a crispier crust. Bon appetit!
