Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make bacon-wrapped chicken breast in the oven? A very simple, quick and affordable dish. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Instead of chicken fillet, you can use any other parts of the chicken: legs, thighs, legs. Also take bacon according to your taste: raw smoked or boiled smoked. I have a raw smoked one.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the garlic and cut into petals.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the chicken fillet and dry. Using a knife, make punctures in each fillet and stuff with garlic.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the parsley, shake off moisture and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, dill, cilantro, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.

Step 5

Step 5
Rub each breast with chicken spices. If you use ready-made spice mixtures, be sure to read the ingredients on the package. Often such mixtures already contain salt, take this into account, otherwise you risk oversalting the dish. My spices didnʼt have any salt, so I salted the chicken extra.

Step 6

Step 6
Wrap each chicken fillet with two slices of bacon. If the bacon doesnʼt hold well and tends to unravel, you can secure it with a skewer. It’s better to take chopped bacon straight away.

Step 7

Step 7
Place bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 40 minutes until the chicken is done. The exact time depends on the features of your oven and the size of the fillet. To prevent the chicken from drying out, you can cover the pan with foil. To check the chicken for doneness, pierce it with a knife in the thickest part — if clear juice comes out, then the fillet is ready.

Step 8

Step 8
Sprinkle the finished fillet with chopped herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
