How to bake chicken breasts with tomatoes and cheese in the oven? Prepare all the necessary products. Hard cheese can be replaced with mozzarella or suluguni. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits will not retain their shape and may fall apart when cut, so it will be difficult to stuff chicken with them. You can use any spices to your taste. Dried basil, curry, paprika, as well as ready-made spice mixtures for chicken are suitable. Turn on the oven at 180 C in advance.

Rinse chicken breasts under running water and dry with paper towels. If necessary, remove the skin, films and trim off excess fat. Leave the bone.

Now place the tomato slices in the “pockets”. On the contrary, they can peek out a little. Tomatoes will not only soak the meat with juices, giving it juiciness, but will also serve as decoration, making the dish more colorful.

The breasts are almost ready for baking. Chicken fillet itself is lean and not fatty. Therefore, to prevent the baked meat from turning out dry, be sure to brush it with sauce.

You can use mayonnaise to lubricate the top. But if for some reason you don’t like mayonnaise, I recommend making a quick and healthier sauce. Mix 2-3 tbsp. l sour cream (or 70 ml of cream with a fat content of at least 20%) and 1-2 teaspoon. l mustard. If you want, you can add 2-3 cloves of garlic, passed through a press, to mayonnaise or sour cream sauce. It will make the sauce more flavorful.

Brush the mixture onto the tops of the breasts. This way it won’t dry out during baking and the chicken will be juicy.

Prepare a heatproof baking dish. Line it with parchment or lightly grease it with vegetable oil and place chicken breasts in it. Bake the chicken at 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Time and temperature may differ from those indicated in the recipe. Consider the features of your oven.
