Step 1

Step 1
How to make baked chicken drumsticks with vegetables in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. The set of vegetables can be changed. For example, add potatoes, green peas, eggplant, zucchini. Instead of olive oil, you can use any odorless vegetable oil. Cherry tomatoes can be replaced with regular tomatoes.

Step 2

Step 2
Add paprika, part of the basil, ground black pepper and salt to the sour cream. Mix well. Use seasonings and spices as desired and to your taste.

Step 3

Step 3
Rub the chicken drumsticks with sour cream and leave to marinate for about an hour.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel and wash the carrots. Cut the vegetable into medium-thick slices.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the pre-peeled onions and cut into half rings or feathers. You can use red or white onions.

Step 6

Step 6
Wash the bell pepper and dry it. Remove seeds and stalks from the pepper and cut into large cubes.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the prepared vegetables in a suitable sized bowl, sprinkle with the remaining basil. Add olive oil, add a little salt and stir. Turn on the oven to preheat at 180 C.

Step 8

Step 8
Place marinated drumsticks in a baking dish. For tips on choosing a baking and baking dish, see the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 9

Step 9
Distribute the assorted vegetables around the chicken pieces.

Step 10

Step 10
Wash the cherry tomatoes and dry them. You can take regular tomatoes and cut them into large slices. Place in the pan with the rest of the vegetables. This way they will retain their shape better. But you can add tomatoes in step 7. Place pieces of butter on top.

Step 11

Step 11
Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 180 C. My dish took 1 hour and 15 minutes to prepare. Be sure to take into account the operating characteristics of your oven and determine the temperature and baking time accordingly. The material of the mold in which the dish is prepared will also influence. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 12

Step 12
To test the chicken for doneness, carefully lift the foil and pierce the drumstick with a knife. The meat should be soft and the juice should be light. If the meat juices are pinkish, continue baking. 10 minutes before cooking, remove the foil to allow the chicken drumsticks to brown.

Step 13

Step 13
Serve chicken drumsticks baked with vegetables with any side dish. Bon appetit!
