Marinade:

Garlic 3 clove
Ginger 15 g
Green onions 10 g
bell pepper 1 pc
Hot pepper 0.5 pc
Soy sauce 3 tbsp
Balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp

How to bake a turkey thigh in a sleeve? Prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. Start with the marinade. You can replace balsamic vinegar with regular table vinegar 9% or apple vinegar. If you have wine vinegar, you can use it.

Wash the green onions and cut them into 3-4 pieces to make it easier to place them in the blender bowl.

Peel the ginger root and cut into arbitrary pieces.

Remove seeds and stalks from the chili pepper and cut into pieces. With chili pepper, the marinade will be quite spicy. If you want a mild marinade, omit the chili altogether. Or replace it with powder on the tip of the knife. So the point will be barely noticeable.

Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut into medium cubes.

Grind everything to the desired consistency. You can beat everything to a homogeneous viscous paste. My pieces were thoroughly crushed, but not to the point of a homogeneous puree.

Now prepare the turkey thigh: wash it and pat dry with paper towels. I have a thigh with bone, but no skin. On sale you can find boneless and skinless thigh fillets. In private farms you can get thighs with both skin and bone. Meat with skin turns out juicier, because the skin prevents excess moisture from evaporating, and a tasty crust appears. But turkey with skin is difficult to find in retail chains. Mostly skinless fillets are sold.

Rub the resulting marinade onto the turkey and leave to marinate for 2-3 hours, or preferably overnight.

Place the marinated turkey in a roasting bag and seal the bag on both sides. Due to the viscosity of the marinade, it coats the surface of the turkey in a thin layer. I did not remove this layer so that the skinless meat would not dry out during baking.

Bake the turkey in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 1 hour. Or a little less/longer, depending on your oven. If you have meat with a bone, then especially check that it is well cooked near the bone. It should not be red or bright pink.
