One-Pot Chicken and Rice Bake

Meat and side dish are baked together — quick, tasty and convenient. I usually cook the chicken and side dish separately. But in this form — in a pot in the oven — it saves a lot of time, because both the meat and the side dish are baked at the same time. Plus, thanks to the pots, you get a wonderful, incomparable taste.

Basic:

Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Rice 300 g
Bay leaf 2 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Chicken fillet 300 g
Curry 0.5 tsp

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare rice with chicken in a pot we will need: chicken fillet; rice; carrot; Bay leaf; curry; ground black pepper and salt.

Wash the chicken fillet, dry it, remove the films. Cut the meat into medium cubes.

Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater.

Rinse the rice thoroughly.

In a bowl, combine chicken fillet, rice, grated carrots.

Salt, pepper, add curry and stir.

Fill the pots with rice and chicken about half or a little more, since the rice will swell as it cooks and needs room.

Add water or chicken broth to each pot until the rice is completely covered. Place a bay leaf into the pots.

Place the pots in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35-40 minutes. The water should be completely absorbed into the rice.
