Butter 50 g
Milk 60 g
Bulb onions 1 pc
Chicken eggs 1 pc
Herring 150 g

Classic forshmak is made from herring with the addition of onion, butter, loaf, egg, sour apple, milk, salt and pepper.

Boil a hard-boiled egg, soak a couple of slices of loaf in milk. Peel the egg and apples.
