Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make pork with gravy in a slow cooker? Prepare the following ingredients. It is better to take boneless and fresh pork fillet. If the meat is frozen, it should be thawed first. Medium sized onions and carrots. Salt, pepper to taste, vegetable oil for frying. I have tomato paste in the form of a strong tomato sauce with spices; you can replace it with tomatoes in their own juice. Flour is added to thicken the sauce.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the pork well under running water, remove any remaining bones and tendons. Dry with a paper towel or napkins. Cut the pork into small pieces, squares or strips.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour some vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Turn on the "Fry" mode. Once the bottom of the bowl is hot, add the chopped pork pieces and fry the meat for a few minutes until each piece is lightly browned.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the carrots under running water, peel them, cut off unnecessary parts. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the onion under running water and peel it, cut off the tail. Cut the onion into medium squares.

Step 6

Step 6
Add grated carrots, chopped onions, and tomato paste to the fried meat. Mix everything and continue frying in the same mode for 5 — 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 7

Step 7
Add salt and pepper to taste, stir.

Step 8

Step 8
Add the required amount of flour, mix everything. Pour in water (about a glass, but you can add more if you like liquid gravy, and less — be guided by your taste and technique), for me about 1 cm of water does not cover the food placed in the multicooker (see photo), and again mix everything. Taste for salt and add if necessary. Turn on the "Stew" mode and simmer the pork with gravy for about an hour or until the meat is cooked.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the pork with tomato sauce hot, placing pieces of meat on the side and pouring the sauce over it. Potatoes, pasta, buckwheat, and rice are suitable as a side dish. I had pork and gravy for dinner for the whole family; I served it with mashed potatoes the old fashioned way.
