Cherry Mint Lemonade

Delicious homemade instant lemonade. Lemonade is a drink that has been loved by many since childhood. Its sweet and sour taste perfectly quenches thirst. Cherry lemonade — with a bright taste and beautiful color — is my favorite summer drink. Cherry lemonade can be made at any time of the year, from both fresh and frozen berries. I add a sprig of mint to that drink, it gives the drink freshness and a slight chill. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste, it depends on how sweet or sour the cherries are.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients needed to make lemonade. How to choose a cooking pan, read the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare mint syrup. We wash the mint sprig under running water and tear off 5-6 leaves from it. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and mint leaves. If you don’t like the taste of mint or it’s contraindicated for you for some reason, you can simply boil sugar syrup. Place the pan on the stove and bring to a boil. While the syrup is boiling, wash the cherries and remove the pits.

Step 3

Step 3
Add half the cherries to the boiled syrup and cook for 3 minutes. Remove the pan from the stove and let the syrup cool completely. Scald the lemon with boiling water and wash it well. Add the rest of the cherries to the cooled broth and squeeze out the juice of half a lemon; this can be done using a citrus juicer or a regular fork, twisting it in the lemon pulp. Place the pan in the refrigerator for 2 hours so that the lemonade infuses and becomes richer.

Step 4

Step 4
After the specified time has passed, strain the cherry lemonade. Cut the remaining half of the lemon into thin slices and place in a jug with the finished lemonade. Cherry lemonade is ready! It is best served chilled with lemon wedges. I hope you enjoy this bright, tasty, sweet and sour drink with mint flavor. Homemade lemonade should be stored in the refrigerator. Bon appetit!
