Garlic 1 clove
Honey 1 tbsp
Vegetable oil 50 ml
Soy sauce 100 ml

How to make a marinade for duck before baking in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. It is advisable to choose naturally fermented soy sauce. It is best to use liquid honey; candied honey will not work. Vegetable oil can be anything: olive, sesame or the most affordable sunflower. If it is not available, fresh garlic can be replaced with garlic powder.

Pour soy sauce into the marinade container and add honey. Mix well until the honey is completely dissolved. Please note that soy sauce is quite salty, so you donʼt need to use salt.

Pour in vegetable oil and stir until smooth.

Add chopped garlic. I put it through the press. You can also chop it with a knife or grate it on a fine grater. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices, seasonings and herbs to the marinade. Fenugreek, thyme, rosemary, and oregano would be very appropriate here. Depending on the additives, you will get a new taste of the finished dish every time.
