Wheat flour 1 tbsp
Ginger 0.5 tsp
Honey (liquid) 2 tbsp
White wine vinegar 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 300 ml
Curry 1 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make chicken marinade in soy sauce? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take classic soy sauce without additives so that its taste and aroma do not interfere with the set of spices selected for the marinade. Use liquid honey — this way it will combine better and faster with all the other ingredients. You can replace white wine vinegar with the juice of half a lemon or 1 tbsp. l. apple or regular table vinegar 9%.

Step 2

Step 2
If the honey is candied or almost candied, then it should first be melted in the oven or in the microwave. Then cool at room temperature. If you melt honey in the microwave, remember not to place any dishes with gold-plated internal or external rims or patterns, or metal utensils. Such dishes will sparkle in the microwave. You should give preference to glass, ceramics or porcelain.

Step 3

Step 3
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, liquid honey, white wine vinegar, curry, dry garlic, ginger powder and ground pepper. Dry garlic and ground ginger can be replaced with fresh ones. You will need 2 cloves of garlic, and 2 cm of ginger root. They need to be peeled and grated on a fine grater. Garlic can also be passed through a press.

Step 4

Step 4
Sift the flour into the marinade through a sieve. It is necessary to sift the flour. This way the flour will combine better with the sauce and no small lumps will appear. With the addition of flour, the consistency of the marinade remained virtually unchanged. It is just as fluid without a hint of viscosity. However, if you pour the marinade into the pan with the chicken, under the influence of high temperatures and evaporation of excess moisture, the marinade will gradually thicken. And in addition to the chicken, you also get a delicious thick sauce.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix everything well. If flour lumps appear in the marinade, rub the entire mixture through a sieve.

Step 6

Step 6
The marinade is ready. You can pour it over the chicken and leave it to marinate for a couple of hours or overnight. Bon appetit!
