Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to knead a quick, fluffy kefir dough without yeast? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Remove kefir and egg from the refrigerator 1-1.5 hours before cooking. For the dough to turn out well, they must be at room temperature.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the egg with soap and dry with a towel or napkin. Take a deep bowl in which it will be convenient to beat the egg. Beat it with sugar and salt using a whisk or fork. There is no need to whip until foam appears. Adding salt improves the taste and simplifies the whipping process.

Step 3

Step 3
Add soda and kefir to the beaten egg. Mix everything well and leave for 3-5 minutes until foam appears. This means that the soda and kefir have reacted; you can continue kneading the dough.

Step 4

Step 4
Add vegetable oil and stir until smooth.

Step 5

Step 5
To knead the dough, take a deep bowl in which it will be convenient to mix dry and liquid ingredients. Sift half of the flour specified in the recipe to eliminate small debris and oxygenate the dough. To make the dough successful, you need to add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients, and not vice versa.

Step 6

Step 6
Make a well in the flour and pour the liquid component into it, stir until smooth. Since the properties of flour of the same type, but from different manufacturers, differ, to obtain the desired consistency, add the remaining flour in small portions.

Step 7

Step 7
When it becomes difficult to knead with a spoon, start doing it with your hands. Knead the dough thoroughly.

Step 8

Step 8
The dough should be slightly elastic, but tender and not stick to your hands. Donʼt make the dough too stiff to prevent it from becoming rubbery.
