Pink salmon stewed with onions and carrots in a frying pan in sour cream turns out not dry at all due to the fact that it simmers for a short time on a bed of vegetables. And the process is so simple that even a beginner can handle it. Take any fish, steaks or fillets.

Basic:

Salt to taste
Sour cream (or mayonnaise) 1 tbsp
Carrot 1 pc
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Dry spices to taste
Pink salmon (steaks) 400 g

How to stew pink salmon with onions and carrots in a frying pan? Prepare your food. You can take either a whole fish or already cut into pieces. Pre-cut whole fish into steaks or any other pieces. There is no need to cut off the skin. You can use mayonnaise instead of sour cream. Wash and peel the vegetables.

Cut the onion into thin feathers. To avoid irritating the mucous membranes of your eyes when cutting onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a slice of lemon before cutting.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Wash and dry the fish steaks.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Pour vegetable oil for frying (refined, odorless) onto it. Place onions and carrots in the pan. Fry them, stirring, for a few minutes until soft.

Place pink salmon steaks on top of the fried vegetables. Salt and season the pieces with spices. Use them according to your taste, I used black pepper. Dilute the sour cream with hot water, 100-150 ml is enough. Pour the resulting sauce between the fish pieces.

Cover the pan with a lid and turn the heat to low. Simmer pink salmon for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pieces. If the sauce starts to boil over, add a little more water to the pan.

Serve stewed fish with vegetables in sour cream at the table with any side dish or salad. Bon appetit!
