Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry carp in a frying pan? Prepare all the products that are listed. In the recipe I used mirror carp weighing about 1200-1400 grams. If you have frozen fish, then you need to remove it from the freezer in advance and leave it at room temperature until completely thawed. Clean the carp from scales, gut it and remove the fins.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the fish, dry it with paper napkins and cut into pieces of the same width (about 1.5-2 cm each).

Step 3

Step 3
Salt each piece on all sides and sprinkle with your favorite dry spices. I used ground sweet paprika and a pinch of dried basil. You can take a ready-made mixture for fish.

Step 4

Step 4
Sift the flour through a sieve onto a flat, wide plate. You may need a little more or less flour than stated in the recipe. Dredge each piece of fish in flour.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat refined vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the carp to fry. Cook over moderate heat for about 5-6 minutes until crispy and delicious.

Step 6

Step 6
Next, turn the fish on its side and fry for another 5-6 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Turn the carp over onto its other side. Cook again for about five minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
Finally, place the fish on the remaining fourth side and cook until done. In total, the carp was fried for 20-25 minutes. Place the finished pieces on napkins to remove excess oil. Serve the carp hot or cold.
