Sour Cream & Garlic Chicken Fillet with Onions

A quick dinner and even a snack — fried fillet with onions! Delicious! I love fast food. Once you’ve cut it, load it into the frying pan, bring it to the table, and the hot dish is ready. Fried chicken fillet with onions in a frying pan is a lifesaver when you need a quick dinner or lunch for the whole family.

Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Garlic 1.5 clove
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Sour cream 3.5 tbsp
Bulb onions 1 pc
Paprika 1 tsp
Mayonnaise (who is on a diet, take some more sour cream) 1.5 tbsp
Chicken fillet 500 g
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Place a frying pan with oil over medium heat. Peel and cut the onion into quarter rings.

Step 2

Step 2
Place the onion in the pan and fry until soft.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the fillet into thin strips, as for beef stroganoff.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the meat on the onion.

Step 5

Step 5
Stir and fry while stirring. I cook the meat over high heat and barely stir it (at most twice the whole time) — this way the crust sets and all the juices remain in the meat, rather than creating soot on the bottom of the pan.

Step 6

Step 6
Fry the chicken until golden brown.

Step 7

Step 7
Add salt, pepper and paprika.

Step 8

Step 8
Add sour cream and mayonnaise. If you are watching the calorie content of your dishes, use only low-fat sour cream. It will turn out just as tasty, but with a minimum of fat. And to eliminate the oil at the first stage, simmer the onion in a small amount of water.

Step 9

Step 9
Cook the meat for another 5 minutes, adding finely chopped garlic during the process.

Step 10

Step 10
Serve with any side dish you like, and be sure to serve greens — they are good with chicken.
