Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry trout in foil on a grill? First of all, prepare all the products that are indicated in the recipe. If you have frozen fish, you should first defrost it at room temperature or on the bottom shelf in the refrigerator. Gut the trout, clean the scales and remove the gills. Wash each carcass thoroughly under running cold water and dry with paper napkins or a towel.

Step 2

Step 2
Place the fish in a plastic bag, pour in white wine and squeeze the juice of half a lemon. Gently spread the marinade over the entire fish, close the bag and leave to marinate for 20-30 minutes. During the hot season, it is better to marinate fish in the refrigerator.

Step 3

Step 3
Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Peel the onion. Rinse the champignons and onion and dry with a towel. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and the onion into half rings.

Step 4

Step 4
Rinse and dry the greens, chop finely. From greens you can take dill, young green onions, parsley, etc. Mix mushrooms, onions and herbs. Lightly salt and pepper as desired.

Step 5

Step 5
Place foil on the table surface. Spread it with butter, place the trout on top, stuff with mushrooms and onions.

Step 6

Step 6
Salt the fish on top and sprinkle with your favorite dry spices. I used a pinch of smoked red paprika, ground allspice and dried basil.

Step 7

Step 7
Wrap the trout well in 3-4 layers of foil.

Step 8

Step 8
Light up the grill. Wait until the wood burns out and coals remain.

Step 9

Step 9
Level the coals using a poker or other available means. Install the grill. Place the trout on the grill. Bake on one side for 8-10 minutes, then turn the fish over and cook for about 10 more minutes. Cooking time may differ from those indicated in the recipe, it depends on the amount of coals and the degree of heat.
