Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make meat in pita bread? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. The meat must be passed through a meat grinder and turned into minced meat. I will use pork, but it can be replaced with any other type of meat or cold cuts. If you don’t have a meat grinder, you can chop the meat finely. For the sauce, mix mayonnaise with ketchup.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped onion for a minute. Then add the minced meat to the pan and fry everything together until the minced meat is ready. This will take 15-20 minutes. While frying, add a little salt to the minced meat and sprinkle with ground pepper or any spices to your taste.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the pita bread into pieces, approximately 30*30cm. Pull back a little from the edge and brush with sauce. Place the minced meat filling.

Step 4

Step 4
Sprinkle with grated cheese and add some chopped herbs.

Step 5

Step 5
Tuck the edges under and roll. Wrap the whole pita bread like this.

Step 6

Step 6
Fry each pita bread on both sides. You can fry it in a dry frying pan to create a crust, or you can add a little vegetable oil to make the outer layer a little juicier.

Step 7

Step 7
Fry all the pita breads and serve hot! Bon appetit!
