Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make tomatoes with garlic and mayonnaise? Prepare your food. Take tomatoes of the same size, maybe in different colors, it will be more interesting. Choose firm fruits so that they do not soften when cutting.

Step 2

Step 2
Grate the cheese on a medium grater. I took semi-solid, but any will do — hard, soft, melted. The main thing is that the cheese is natural and tasty.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the mayonnaise in a tight bag. Peel the garlic and pass through a press directly to the mayonnaise. Using your fingers, knead the bag to distribute the garlic evenly.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut them into slices about 5mm thick. You donʼt have to use round tips. Place the sliced tomatoes immediately on a serving platter in a single layer. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut off a corner of the bag and squeeze the mayonnaise onto the tomatoes using a snake.

Step 6

Step 6
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. You can put it more, in the form of a slide.

Step 7

Step 7
Decorate the top to your liking. I used olive slices and parsley sprigs. Serve the appetizer to the table right away — after standing, the tomatoes will release their juice and the cheese will dry out. Bon appetit!
