Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make tartlets with curd cheese, cucumber and fish? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients. You can replace cottage cheese with any other; melted cheese, feta, feta cheese, ricotta. If the tartlets are medium-sized, then we will need about 10 pieces. If the tartlets are small, then this amount of filling will be enough for 20 tartlets. You can buy store-bought tartlets, or you can make them yourself.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the cucumber, dry it and cut into thin slices. The peel, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off. I didnʼt cut off the skin.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the fish fillet into oblong thin slices. I used fish that had already been sliced, which saved myself time. If you are using a whole piece of salted fish, then for ease of slicing, it is better to freeze it first. You can use any fish: red, white, salted, lightly salted, smoked, etc. Salmon, trout, pink salmon, chum salmon, salmon, herring, mackerel, etc. are suitable. You can take canned fish such as saury in oil. I have red fish.

Step 4

Step 4
You can fill the tartlets with cheese using a regular spoon, but I put the cheese mixture into a cooking bag with a star-shaped attachment.

Step 5

Step 5
Insert cucumber slices vertically into the baskets, overlapping each other. It’s better to take tartlets with a small diameter, but if you bought wider ones, that’s okay. The snack also looks good in them.

Step 6

Step 6
Roll the red fish into a ring and insert it inside the cucumber edging.

Step 7

Step 7
Pipe curd cheese from a pastry bag in the form of roses into the empty center of the tartlets.

Step 8

Step 8
Decorate each tartlet with herbs. Mine is parsley. Serve the appetizer to the table immediately. Bon appetit!
