Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry dumplings with sour cream and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare your food. You can take store-bought or homemade dumplings. Both fresh and frozen will do; do not defrost them first. Take sour cream of any fat content, natural, without vegetable fats in the composition.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare the sauce immediately. To do this, dilute the sour cream with hot water and stir. Use hot water — then the sauce will not curdle during cooking.

Step 3

Step 3
Grate the cheese on a medium grater — this will melt it faster. Any cheese is suitable for this dish — hard, semi-hard, soft, like mozzarella. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes, and melts well.

Step 4

Step 4
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, preferably with a non-stick coating. Pour vegetable oil into it for frying. Place the dumplings. Be careful — the frozen dumplings will splatter a lot.

Step 5

Step 5
Fry the dumplings on both sides, turning each one over with a fork. Adjust the degree of roasting to your taste — you can make them very brown or not very brown.

Step 6

Step 6
Pour sour cream sauce over fried dumplings. Add some salt. Reduce the heat under the frying pan to low and cover it with a lid. Simmer the dumplings in this way for 10-15 minutes, depending on their size. Make sure that the sauce does not boil over; add a little water if necessary.

Step 7

Step 7
During this time, the dumplings will swell greatly and absorb almost all the sauce. Turn off the heat under the pan and immediately sprinkle the dumplings with grated cheese. Cover the pan with a lid and leave the dish to stand for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve the dumplings to the table. Bon appetit!
