Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to boil eggs in the microwave? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Be sure to take the eggs at room temperature; if you take them cold, they may explode. If you are boiling eggs in the microwave for the first time, I recommend starting with one egg to determine the exact power level and cooking time required for your technique. Since this is still a risky business — the eggs can explode!

Step 2

Step 2
First, wash the eggs well under running water, as there may be harmful bacteria on their surface. Take a microwave-safe bowl, place the eggs there and add salt, which is needed to prevent the eggs from cracking or exploding.

Step 3

Step 3
Boil water and pour it over the eggs, making sure the water completely covers them. You can also pour cold water over the eggs, but then the cooking time will change.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the bowl of eggs in the microwave. When preparing eggs, be sure to take into account the features of your microwave, and choose the time and power individually. Be prepared for the fact that some eggs may explode, so stay close to the microwave in time to turn it off in time. It is important!

Step 5

Step 5
Cover the bowl with eggs with a special microwave lid or a lid that fits the bowl. Turn on the microwave for about 5 minutes, it is better to choose a power of no more than 600 W if you want soft eggs in a bag. If you want hard-boiled eggs, then cook them for about 7-10 minutes, soft-boiled — about 2 minutes. Time and power are approximate and may vary between microwave ovens.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the finished eggs in a bowl of cold water, so they will cool faster and will be easier to peel. Please note that if you need to cook one egg, the time will be significantly reduced (choose individually!)

Step 7

Step 7
This is how you can boil eggs in the microwave, in their shells, in water, successful cooking and bon appetit!
