Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry green beans with an egg in a frying pan? Prepare your food. If you have frozen beans, you don’t have to defrost them — this will happen during cooking. Peel the onion and garlic. Wash and dry the eggs.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the onion into small cubes. Finely chop the garlic.

Step 3

Step 3
Boil water in a saucepan, add salt to it. Throw in the beans. Boil it for 3-4 minutes, then drain the water.

Step 4

Step 4
Immediately cover the beans with ice water. You can even add ice cubes to the water. In this simple way you will preserve the bright green color of the beans. When it has cooled completely, place it in a sieve to drain all the liquid.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, pour vegetable oil into it. Add chopped onion and garlic to the oil. Fry them, stirring, for a couple of minutes until soft. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right oil for frying, in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
Then place the beans in the pan and stir. Beat the eggs into a bowl. Shake them with a fork until the whites and yolks are combined. Pour the eggs into the pan with the beans. Salt and pepper the dish.

Step 7

Step 7
Using a spatula, begin to actively stir the eggs until they curl into pieces, like scrambled eggs. With this method, the scrambled eggs will be ready in a couple of minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve the beans and eggs to the table immediately, or directly in the frying pan. Bon appetit!
