Quick and Tasty Slow Cooker Steamed Zucchini

A simple, tasty and quick way to cook zucchini! As soon as these wonderful vegetables appear at my dacha, not a single lunch or dinner is complete without appetizing dishes made from zucchini. Steamed food is very tasty. I suggest pampering yourself and your family with delicious, aromatic zucchini.

Ingredients (1 portion)

Basic:

Garlic 17 g
Salt to taste
Zucchini 300 g
Parsley 7 g
Sunflower oil 20 ml
Basil 7 g

Take the following ingredients: zucchini, purple basil, parsley, garlic, sunflower oil, salt.

To prepare, use a young zucchini with unripe seeds and tender skin. Rinse thoroughly under running water and dry with a paper towel. Trim the ponytails. Cut into circles approximately 0.5-0.7 cm wide. Season with salt to taste.

Wash fresh parsley and purple basil and dry. Tear off the tender leaves; do not use the rough part. Chop finely. Place in a deep bowl.

Peel the garlic cloves. Grate on a fine grater or chop with a garlic press. Add to herbs.

Pour in sunflower oil. Stir.

Add sliced zucchini to the spicy mixture. Mix well so that the spice mixture is evenly distributed throughout all the zucchini. Leave for 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

Place zucchini slices in a mold. Pour 300-400 ml of water into the multicooker bowl, preferably hot, and install a steam rack. Place the pan with the zucchini on the wire rack. Close the lid tightly. Start the steamer/vegetables program. In my Moulinex CE500E32 model, this function lasts 5 minutes.
