Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make meat zrazy with cheese? Prepare your ingredients. It is better to use minced meat for this dish from a mixture of pork and beef, then the zrazy will be even tastier and juicier. If you wish, you can add bread soaked in milk to the minced meat, but zrazy turns out much tastier if you cook them exclusively from meat without various additives, not counting the cheese filling. Boil one hard-boiled egg.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onions and cut into halves or quarters. Remove the stem. Scroll the meat and onions through a meat grinder. You can do this twice to make the minced meat more tender.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the egg and dry with napkins. Beat a raw egg into the minced meat. Add spices to taste: salt and ground black pepper. Stir the minced meat with a spoon so that the egg is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Step 4

Step 4
Start preparing the filling. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater.

Step 5

Step 5
Chop the boiled yolk with a knife and add it to the grated cheese. Chop the washed and dried greens finely. Add the greens to the filling and stir.

Step 6

Step 6
Start forming the patterns. Place wheat flour on a flat plate. Take some minced meat with your hand and make a flat cake out of it. Place cheese filling in the center of each tortilla. Carefully seal the edges of the zraza so that the filling does not fall out.

Step 7

Step 7
Form into a small round patty. Roll all the zrazy in flour.

Step 8

Step 8
Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Place the cooked cutlets on it. Fry the zrazy on one side until golden brown, turn over to the other side and fry until golden brown.

Step 9

Step 9
Reduce heat to medium and cover the pan with a lid. And fry the zrazy under the lid for about 10-20 minutes (use your stove as a guide). It is the observance of this principle of frying that makes the zrazy especially juicy inside. Because the formation of a crust prevents the juices from escaping. Remove the cutlet pan from the heat. Transfer the finished zrazy to a plate. And serve hot. Bon appetit!
