A universal, flavorful sauce for any side dish. The gravy goes well with potatoes, pasta and other cereals. Changing the side dish and adding mushroom sauce each time we get a new and tasty dish.

Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Garlic 1 clove
Salt to taste
Wheat flour 2 tbsp
Pepper to taste
Sour cream 2 tbsp
Chicken breasts 1 pc
Carrot (small) 1 pc
Bulb onions (average) 2 pc
Vegetable oil (for frying) 2 tbsp
Champignon 300 g
Dill to taste

Recipe instructions

Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes. Cut the champignons into thin slices. Finely chop the onion, garlic and herbs. Carrots — grated.

Place the onion and garlic in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil and fry until browned. Then remove the onion with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Place chicken pieces in a frying pan with the remaining oil and fry on all sides over high heat for 2-3 minutes. Transfer chicken to a plate.

Place mushrooms and carrots in a frying pan and fry for 5-7 minutes. Add oil if necessary.

Return the chicken and onions to the pan with the mushrooms. Mix.

After adding salt and pepper, sprinkle with flour and mix thoroughly, frying everything in flour.

Add water, chopped herbs, mix thoroughly, simmer covered for 5-7 minutes.

Add sour cream, mix well, bring to a boil. Remove the gravy from the heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes.
