Perfect Thin Crust and Sauce for Italian Pizza

This pizza will please everyone without exception! This recipe has been with me for many years. And I tried so many different recipes for making pizza... But this one is by far the most delicious! Very often I make mini pizzas using this recipe.

Ingredients (8 portions)

Dough:

Olive oil 3 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Wheat flour 2 cup
Water 1 cup
Dry yeast 1 tsp

Sauce:

Tomatoes 3 pc
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp
bell pepper 1 pc

Recipe instructions

Place the dough: add sugar, a pinch of salt, yeast and 1 tbsp to warm water. l. flour. Place the bowl of dough on a bowl of hot water and cover with a towel. We wait until foam appears. This will take about 15 — 20 minutes. Then pour the remaining flour, salt into a large bowl, add olive oil and pour in the dough. Mix the dough. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes, adding more flour as needed.

The dough should be plastic and pliable. Brush the dough with olive oil, cover with cling film and place in a warm place for 1 hour, then knead and leave for another 1 hour. The dough after kneading is like this.

When the dough has risen, divide it into two parts. (this is for two pizzas). Place a ball of dough on a floured surface and form it into a flat cake, rolling it in flour. We do this only with our hands!

Prepare a baking sheet in advance and grease it with olive oil. Preheat the oven to maximum temperature!!! You can place a bowl of water at the bottom of the oven to prevent the bottom of the pizza from burning. Now we form the basis of our pizza. If possible, we will not use a rolling pin. Letʼs stretch the dough on our knuckles like true Italians!

Stretch the pizza, turning the dough in a circle until you get a thin flatbread. (Well, if you don’t succeed, you can resort to a rolling pin)

Now letʼs prepare the sauce. Cut the onion and pepper into small cubes, fry in a frying pan until golden brown. Then add finely chopped tomatoes and simmer everything thoroughly. Salt, pepper and add spices.

Then beat everything in a blender. Our delicious sauce is ready! No ketchup can compare, really! At least spread it on bread and eat it!

Place our pizza base on a greased baking sheet and generously coat with sauce.
