Pan-Cooked Bag Omelet: Quick, Nutritious, and Unique

Airy, lush, satisfying. The preparation is very unusual! An omelette in a bag cooked in a pan is in no way inferior in its benefits to steamed cooking. It turns out light, but at the same time quite nutritious. And it’s done in an unusual way! Fast and easy!

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make an omelette in a bag cooked in a saucepan? Prepare all the necessary products. Take larger eggs, it is best if they are homemade eggs, or in extreme cases CO. They have a bright orange yolk, which makes the omelet a beautiful color. You will read a lot of useful information about chicken eggs in the article on this topic. There is a link at the end of this recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare a bag in which you will cook the omelet. Regular small lunch bags will do. For greater strength, I used two bags: I placed one inside the other.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the eggs very well with a food grade cleaner — their shells contain a lot of bacteria. Gently beat the eggs directly into the bag and pour in the milk. I note that milk can be anything: natural or plant-based.

Step 4

Step 4
Add your favorite ingredients to the bag if desired. If you are a fan of heartier dishes, you can add pieces of bacon, chicken pieces, chopped champignons, and grated cheese. Pieces of any vegetables would also be appropriate: chopped tomatoes, sweet peppers and onions. If you prefer an option that is close to the classic version of an omelet, then you can simply limit yourself to freshly chopped greens.

Step 5

Step 5
Season the omelette mixture with salt. At this stage, you can also add other dried herbs or seasonings: ground hot pepper, paprika, garlic powder and others.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix all the ingredients directly with your hands, kneading the outside of the bag.

Step 7

Step 7
Tie the top of the bag with a strong knot.

Step 8

Step 8
Boil water in a saucepan. Place the bag directly into boiling water and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Carefully remove the omelette bag and cool slightly. Then carefully cut the bag and serve.

Step 10
This omelet with milk boiled in water is perfect for a family breakfast; both adults and children will love it! Bon appetit!
