Italian Chicken Spaghetti Delight

A delicious dinner for the whole family with an Italian twist. Spaghetti with chicken is a simple and quick dish. But thanks to Provençal herbs and Parmesan, the result is an almost real Italian dish. It is better to cook pasta and chicken at the same time.

Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Garlic 2 clove
Salt 2 tsp
Ground black pepper to taste
Butter 20 g
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Dry spices (Provencal herbs) 0.5 tsp
Parmesan 75 g
Chicken fillet 250 g
Heavy cream 100 ml
Spaghetti 200 g

How to make spaghetti with chicken? Prepare the specified products according to the list. Spaghetti is approximately half of a standard package. If the family is large, then double the amount of ingredients. I take 20% cream, you can take 10%, but add 0.5 tsp in step 5. flour. For dry spices, I use herbs de Provence. Cheese — Parmesan, you can use any other hard cheese. The chicken fillet is fresh; if you use frozen, you must first defrost it.

Rinse the chicken fillet under running cold water, cut off any remaining bones and skin. Cut the fillet into small cubes. Lightly coat the chicken pieces in the herb mixture. Season with salt and ground black pepper if desired. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken pieces in it for 10 minutes, stirring them constantly.

Place a saucepan with enough water on the fire, bring to a boil, pour in a spoonful of vegetable oil, lightly add salt and place the spaghetti in boiling water. Stir immediately, stir the next time after boiling, and then stir again during cooking. Place the finished pasta in a colander to drain the liquid and place it back into the pan to keep warm.

Place the finished chicken fillet on a separate plate. And add peeled garlic to the pan in which the meat was fried. I add whole garlic because I donʼt plan on it remaining in the sauce. If you want pieces of garlic to be present in the sauce, then it should be passed through a press and not removed later. Fry the garlic in oil for a few minutes until fragrant, then remove the garlic pieces.

Grate the cheese and add to the cream, stirring constantly so that the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the sauce and does not turn out to be just a lump. Boil, stirring, for a minute or two, turn off the heat, cover with a lid and leave to stand.

Place the finished hot spaghetti on a plate, pour the sauce over it and evenly distribute the fried chicken pieces. Serve the dish hot. A glass of white wine goes perfectly with this Italian dinner.
