Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make lazy manti? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the filling and dough. To avoid fussing for a long time, you can use ready-made dough. Wash the vegetables and herbs well, dry them, and peel the vegetables. Wash the egg and dry with a napkin. If necessary, defrost the minced meat in advance. Take refined vegetable oil.

Step 2

Step 2
Break the egg into the dough bowl, add water and vegetable oil.

Step 3

Step 3
Mix well and beat the resulting emulsion a little with a whisk. Add salt to taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sifted flour little by little to the emulsion and knead the dough. Please note that you may need more or less flour — focus on the consistency of the dough.

Step 5

Step 5
The dough should be soft and elastic.

Step 6

Step 6
Wrap the dough in film and leave for half an hour at room temperature.

Step 7

Step 7
Grate the onion into the minced meat on a coarse grater and the garlic on a fine grater. If you make minced meat using a meat grinder, grind the onion and garlic in a meat grinder.

Step 8

Step 12

Step 12
Spread the minced meat onto the dough in an even layer.

Step 13

Step 13
Grate the peeled carrots directly onto the minced meat in an even layer. Instead of carrots, you can use potatoes, it’s also delicious.

Step 14

Step 14
Roll the dough with minced meat into a tight roll.

Step 15

Step 15
While rolling, wrap the edge so that the juice does not leak out of the roll when baking. Pinch the seam of the roll well.

Step 16

Step 16
Place the lazy manti in the bowl of a double boiler (or multicooker, or manty dish) as shown in the photo.
