Microwave Mug Pizza: Quick and Delicious

The most amazing pizza Iʼve ever eaten in my life! As a change, when there is no time to cook traditional pizza, this is quite the place to be. This dish, along with the sauce, cheese and mini pepperoni, really tastes like pizza. But if you are not ready to experiment, skip this recipe :)

Ingredients (1 portion)

For one serving:

Olive oil 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Wheat flour 4 tbsp
Milk 50 ml
Hard cheese 20 g
Baking powder 0.25 tsp
Soda 0.25 tsp
Italian herbs to taste
Tomato sauce 1.5 tbsp
Smoked sausage 20 g

How to make pizza in a mug? Sift premium wheat flour into a microwave-safe mug, add baking powder, baking soda and salt. Let me remind you that not all dishes are suitable for use in the microwave! Metal, gold-plated and thin plastic definitely won’t work.

Add milk and olive oil.

Stir the dough with a spoon until smooth. Level the dough.

Add tomato sauce. I made mine at home, but ketchup and even tomato paste will do.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and place a few mini pepperoni rings on top. It can be replaced with any small uncooked smoked sausages or even sausages.

Top the pizza with dried Italian herbs.

Bake the pizza in the microwave for 5-7 minutes at 800 watts until done. Be aware that the cheese has melted and the pizza itself has increased in volume.
