Vinegar 1 tsp
Chicken eggs 3 pc
Soda 0.25 tsp
Margarine 200 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake homemade cookies in a gas pan like when you were a child? Prepare all ingredients. These cookies were previously prepared only with margarine, but they can be replaced with butter (I have never cooked with butter). Take margarine from a trusted manufacturer. Cut it into cubes, melt it in a water bath and leave it to cool on the table. My eggs are category CO. Sift the flour so that it is saturated with oxygen. This will make the cookies more tender.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse chicken eggs with cold water and dry. Break the eggs one at a time into a deep bowl, add sugar and stir until the ingredients are combined.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour cooled melted margarine into the eggs and stir.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sifted flour, soda, slaked with vinegar, and knead into a homogeneous thick dough. It took me 160 grams of flour — 1.5 cups, it may take a little more. The consistency of the dough should be slightly thicker than pancake dough. This dough is convenient to spread with a spoon.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the cookie pan on the stove and let it warm up completely. Use a ladle to place the dough in the middle of one half of the pan and cover with the other half without pressing. Place on the fire and fry on one side first until golden brown.

Step 6

Step 6
Then turn the pan over to the other side and fry on the other side. When the pan is very hot, less than a minute on each side will be enough. Make the heat a little less than medium so that your pan does not start to burn and smoke due to leaking fat and dough. In total, I managed to make six passes with this amount of dough.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the finished cookies immediately on a plate lined with napkins or a paper towel. While itʼs hot, you can cut it into individual segments — in my shape these are triangles. You can transfer the cooled cookies into a beautiful dish or cracker and serve. Enjoy your tea!
