Pan-Seared Chicken with Carrots and Onions

Very simple, very bright, very juicy, very appetizing! Chicken stewed in a frying pan with carrots and onions is an easy and quick dish. It can be served either on its own or with any side dish. Pre-frying leaves the poultry meat soft, and the vegetables fill it with their taste and aroma.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to stew chicken in a frying pan with carrots and onions? Prepare your food. Any fillet is suitable — both from the breast and from the thigh. I have one large breast fillet, just enough for 2 servings. Wash and peel the vegetables first.

Step 2

Step 2
Start cooking by chopping all the ingredients. Thaw the chicken meat if it was frozen, then wash and dry. It is important to dry the fillet well so that when frying it is fried and not stewed. Cut the meat into small pieces.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the onion into quarter rings.

Step 4

Step 4
Carrots — in circles or semicircles, depending on the size.

Step 5

Step 5
Remove the core and seeds from the pepper and cut the pulp into large pieces. I used peppers of different colors to make the dish bright. But in general any color pepper will do.

Step 6

Step 6
Place a frying pan over medium heat and heat it well. Pour vegetable oil into the pan for frying. Place chicken fillet in oil. Fry it, stirring, on all sides until it turns white — this way you will seal the juice inside and the chicken will remain soft.

Step 7

Step 7
Add onions and carrots to the chicken. Fry the meat and vegetables, stirring, for 10 minutes over low heat. Then salt and pepper the dish. You can also add any spices to your taste.

Step 8

Step 8
Place pepper slices and chopped garlic into the pan. Stir, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the dish for another 10 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the finished chicken stewed in a frying pan to the table with any side dish or alone, garnished with herbs. Bon appetit!
