Spinach 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make chicken dumplings? Yes, very simple and quite fast. First, prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking. If you donʼt have fresh spinach, use frozen spinach, but defrost it completely and squeeze out any excess moisture. Wash raw chicken eggs well and dry with napkins.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse and pat dry the chicken breast. Cut it into pieces and grind in a meat grinder with a fine grid or using a blender. Transfer the minced breast meat to a bowl.

Step 3

Step 3
Break an egg into a bowl with minced meat.

Step 4

Step 4
Salt everything. It is best to salt with coarse salt, as fine salt can oversalt it.

Step 5

Step 5
Add ground black pepper. If desired, it can be replaced with white or green varieties.

Step 6

Step 6
Add chopped spinach to the bowl. If you use fresh spinach, sort and remove the stems. After this, lower it into boiling water for 30-60 seconds, and then immediately transfer it to ice water and leave until it cools. Remove, squeeze and chop finely.

Step 7

Step 7
Add flour to the bowl with the minced meat and spinach. It must first be sifted from small debris, if any, and lumps of flour.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour paprika into a bowl and mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
You can also make dumplings by hand. But if you take them with a tablespoon dipped in water, the dumplings turn out very neat and almost identical. Wet a tablespoon with water and scrape the minced meat against the side of the dish. Then transfer to a damp palm and, using a spoon, form a dumpling.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the dumplings on a plate moistened with water.

Step 11

Step 11
Pour one and a half liters of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, add salt. Reduce the heat to low and lower the dumplings, being careful not to let them stick to the bottom. And donʼt put everything in at once, they may stick together and lose their shape. Cook over low heat until they float to the surface. This will take approximately 5-7 minutes. Focus on your stove. Then remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve immediately with any side dish or vegetables and herbs.
