Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make breakfast from eggs and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare your food. This recipe is for one serving. You will have to take turns cooking for several people. Although this does not take long at all, especially if all the ingredients are prepared in advance. Milk is suitable for any fat content. You can also use any starch; take twice as much corn as potato starch.

Step 2

Step 2
Carefully separate the egg into white and yolk. Try to keep the yolk intact and not get into the white — this will make the dish both tastier and more aesthetically pleasing. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.

Step 3

Step 3
Lightly beat the egg white with a fork and pour in the milk. Next, take a whisk and, without stopping whisking, add starch. Stir until smooth, you should get something like an omelette mixture.

Step 4

Step 4
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Or small, itʼs not critical.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat a frying pan over low heat. It is more convenient if it is small in size, per serving, and with a non-stick coating. Drop a small amount of vegetable oil and spread it with a brush — you don’t need a lot of oil for this dish. Pour the egg-milk mixture into the pan. Add salt to taste.

Step 6

Step 6
When the pancake is completely dry on top and slightly browned on the bottom, sprinkle grated cheese on it. Immediately fold the edges of the pancake on all four sides, forming it into an envelope. Pour the yolk into the center. Fry the dish for a few more minutes over low heat. The cheese should melt completely, and the yolk should set just a little, but remain liquid inside. You can even cover the pan with a lid. But make sure that the yolk does not harden.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove the finished dish from the frying pan and serve immediately — this breakfast is good hot. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper on top. Bon appetit!
