Basic:

Garlic 2 clove
Water 5 tbsp
Bay leaf 2 pc
Peppercorns 10 pc
Soy sauce 150 ml
Salo 700 g

How to cook lard in soy sauce? Incredibly simple! Prepare all the necessary products that are indicated in the recipe. If possible, use lard with layers of meat, then the finished dish will turn out especially juicy and tasty. You can add coriander and allspice to the spices provided.

Rinse the lard thoroughly under running cool water. If you have a large piece of lard, then cut it into rectangular portions. Place the pieces in a saucepan or small pan of suitable size. Add peppercorns and garlic, crushed with the back of a knife. Also add the bay leaf to the saucepan.

Pour soy sauce over everything and add 5-10 tbsp. cold water. You may need more soy sauce than indicated in the recipe. Make sure that all the pieces are completely immersed in liquid.

Place the saucepan on the stove. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer the lard over low heat for 20-30 minutes (until ready, it took me 25 minutes). Next, turn off the stove, cover the saucepan with a lid and leave the lard this way until it cools completely.

When the lard has cooled, remove it from the soy sauce and store it in the refrigerator. The most delicious lard in soy sauce with garlic is ready!
