Honey-Infused Four Cheese Pizza

Classic Italian 4 cheese pizza is a gourmet find. Homemade pizza is no less tasty than from a pizzeria! I prepared the dough for this pizza with the addition of honey. It turned out a little more flavorful than usual. And it is filled with four types of cheese. The result: porous, soft dough and a very delicate, cheesy taste!

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make 4 cheese pizza? Prepare the required products. They should all be at room temperature. Take warm water, premium flour.

Step 2

Step 2
Sift the flour into a suitable sized bowl. Sifting is necessary to saturate the flour with oxygen. Afterwards, the dough will be simpler and easier to rise when baking, and it will turn out more tender. Mix flour with dry yeast and salt.

Step 3

Step 3
Add honey to warm water and stir. This will allow the honey to dissolve better and speed up the process of rising the dough.

Step 4

Step 4
Make a well in the sifted flour and pour in the olive oil.

Step 5

Step 5
Add honey water.

Step 6

Step 6
Stir first with a spoon, then knead the dough with your hands. To prevent it from sticking to your hands, your hands should be dry and cold. Or you can lightly grease them with vegetable oil.

Step 7

Step 7
The dough should be soft and slightly springy. To do this, you need to knead it well to release the gluten. It will help the dough create an extensible frame, which will result in an elastic and dense crumb. Place the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil and cover with a towel. Place in a warm place to rise for 40 minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
During this time the dough will rise noticeably. I divided the dough into 2 parts, respectively, the ingredients for the filling too. But you can make one big pizza.

Step 9

Step 9
On a table sprinkled with flour, roll out the dough into a round cake 0.3-0.5 cm thick.

Step 10

Step 10
Using a rolling pin, transfer the rolled out dough onto a sheet greased with vegetable oil. I just lined a baking sheet with parchment. You can do the same. Make the edges of the dough a little thicker so that the filling does not leak out.

Step 11

Step 11
Lubricate the dough flatbread with ketchup or any suitable tomato sauce.

Step 12

Step 12
Wash the parsley and basil, dry and chop finely.

Step 13

Step 13
Sprinkle a layer of ketchup with chopped herbs.

Step 14

Step 14
Grate the selected cheeses on a coarse grater — everything except mozzarella. First, evenly distribute suluguni or any other pickled cheese of your choice over the surface of the dough.

Step 15

Step 15
Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top of the suluguni (can be replaced with other hard cheese).

Step 16

Step 16
Spread any semi-hard cheese on top of the Parmesan. I took gouda.

Step 17

Step 17
Cut the mozzarella into arbitrary pieces and place on top of the pizza.

Step 18

Step 18
Bake the pizza in an oven preheated to 200C for 15 minutes (take into account the features of your oven). Let the finished pizza cool slightly. Cut the pizza into portions and serve slightly hot. If the cheese hardens, the pizza wonʼt taste as good, so keep that in mind. Bon appetit!
