Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make salmon rolls with cottage cheese? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I recommend preparing commercially produced smoked, lightly salted salmon and here’s why. Such fish is cut using special professional equipment, due to which the pieces come out to the ideal thickness. Personally, I have never been able to cut slices from a whole piece of fish so evenly. But if you succeed, then great.

Step 2

Step 2
The salmon must be examined for the presence of bones and remaining scales. You need to remove everything unnecessary, if any.

Step 3

Step 3
I got salmon slices on one side with long ends. This would have made them awkward to work with, so I cut off the long, thin pieces. Take a heaping teaspoon of cream cheese and shape it into a sausage. Place cheese on salmon slice. Do the same with the remaining pieces of fish.

Step 4

Step 4
Now you need to wrap the rolls, trying to get a stable surface at one end of the workpiece, and a beautiful rose shape at the opposite end.

Step 5

Step 5
Using skewers, pierce the salmon rolls all the way through from top to bottom at an angle (diagonally). Any small skewers will do: plastic or bamboo, like mine. The main thing is that they are sharp enough to pierce the roll through. Garnish the rolls with a lemon wedge and a leaf of fresh parsley. Sprinkle sesame seeds and ground black pepper to taste on top if desired. The appetizer is ready, bon appetit!
