Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make crab sticks with cheese and egg? Choose smooth and long crab sticks, only they are suitable for stuffing. Thaw the crab sticks in advance if they were frozen. To do this, remove them from the refrigerator half an hour before cooking. Remove crab sticks from individual cellophane packaging, if present. Boil the egg until hard-boiled.

Step 2

Step 2
Now for each crab stick you need to give a light “massage” along the entire length. Just roll each stick a little between your fingers. This is necessary to help the layers separate from each other.

Step 3

Step 3
Visually determine where the edge is and, starting from there, unroll the crab sticks until they are smooth. Handle this carefully so as not to damage the integrity of the canvas.

Step 4

Step 4
Start preparing the filling for the appetizer. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and place in a bowl in which the filling will be prepared.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the boiled egg and grate it on a fine grater. Place in a bowl with the cheese.

Step 6

Step 6
Peel a small clove of garlic and grate it on a fine grater. Add it to a common bowl.

Step 7

Step 7
Add mayonnaise to taste and salt. Mix the filling thoroughly.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the crab sticks with the front (red) side down. Place the filling on the white edge of the inside.

Step 9

Step 9
Roll the sticks into a roll shape and place them on a plate. Cover the dish with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour until the filling sets. This will make it easier to cut the crab sticks. After this time, use a sharp knife to cut each stick in half at an angle and place on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh herbs.
