Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with chicken, beets and walnuts? Simple enough. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can use beets boiled or baked in the oven in foil until tender. Stores sell ready-boiled beets in vacuum packaging. Using store-bought beets will save you cooking time.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the chicken fillet and boil in boiling salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Then cool the chicken and cut into small cubes. Instead of boiled chicken, you can fry the fillet in a frying pan or bake it in the oven in foil. You can use smoked chicken instead of fresh chicken.

Step 3

Step 3
Cool the finished beets, peel them and cut into small cubes.

Step 4

Step 4
Rinse the walnuts and dry them in a dry frying pan.

Step 5

Step 5
Then finely chop the nuts with a knife.

Step 6

Step 6
Peel the garlic and finely chop it or pass it through a press. You can use more or less garlic according to your taste.

Step 7

Step 7
In a bowl, combine chicken, beets, walnuts and garlic.

Step 8

Step 8
Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix.

Step 9

Step 9
Place a serving ring with a diameter of 14-16 cm on a plate. Place the salad in it and compact it. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour. If you donʼt have the time or desire to put the salad in a ring, you can simply mix everything in a bowl and serve.

Step 10

Step 10
Remove the cooking ring before serving. Decorate the salad with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
