Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Apples (green, sweet and sour) 1 pc
Walnuts (peeled halves) 10 pc
Sour cream 2 tbsp
Carrot 0.5 pc
Greenery (celery leaves) to taste
Olives 6 pc
Chicken fillet (1 piece, boiled or baked) 200 g
Celery stalk 3 pc

How to make a salad with chicken, celery and apple? Prepare your food. Pre-boil or bake the chicken fillet and then cool completely. Green, sweet and sour varieties are best suited for apples. I used celery leaves as greens, and sour cream for dressing; it can be replaced with natural yogurt.

How to boil chicken fillet? Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and place the fillet in it. Add salt. Cook the chicken for 30 minutes at a low simmer over low heat. Then turn off the heat and leave the fillet to cool completely — this way you will achieve maximum juiciness. How to bake chicken fillet? Salt the meat and coat with spices. Wrap the piece in foil and place in the oven for 40 minutes, preheated to 180°C. Disassemble the cooled fillet into fibers.

Cut the celery stalks into pieces crosswise. I have young stems from the middle. Peel larger and harder ones from the top layer.

Wash and dry the apple. Cut it into medium-sized strips.

Also cut the peeled carrots into thin strips. If you wish, you can grate the carrots using a coarse grater or a Korean carrot grater.

Chop the walnuts into small pieces. Leave a few halves to decorate the salad.

Place all ingredients in a salad bowl, add pitted olives, salt and pepper.

Season the salad with sour cream or natural yogurt. Stir.
