Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Rabbit salad with ham and prunes? Prepare your food. Take lean, natural, tasty ham. Cucumber — fresh, seedless prunes, sweet. Boil the eggs first and cool. Also boil carrots to decorate the salad.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the ham from the shell and cut into small cubes. Try to cut finely so that when forming the salad there are no pieces sticking out of it. Leave one thin piece of ham for decoration.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the cucumber and cut off the ends. Be sure to try to see if it is bitter — such a fruit will spoil the taste of the dish. Also cut the cucumber into cubes. Leave one cucumber strip for garnish.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel and chop the eggs — either into cubes, like the other ingredients, or on a coarse grater.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the prunes well and dry. If it is very hard, then pour boiling water over it and leave for 10 minutes. Cut the prunes into small pieces.

Step 6

Step 6
Take a flat plate. Place the rabbitʼs face and ears out of the ham. Try to keep the ham lying flat, in one layer.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the mayonnaise in a piping bag or bag and cut off the tip. Apply mayonnaise to the ham in stripes.

Step 8

Step 8
Next, lay out a layer of fresh cucumber, repeating the silhouette of the rabbit. Also apply mayonnaise on it.

Step 9

Step 9
The next layer is eggs, mayonnaise on them. Place the prunes only on the muzzle so that the ears are slightly lower.

Step 10

Step 10
Grate the cheese on a medium grater.

Step 11

Step 11
Carefully place the cheese in the topmost layer, covering the sides and ears of the rabbit. Leave some cheese for the paws.

Step 12

Step 12
Cut out a rabbitʼs nose, ears and mouth from a thin piece of ham. Place them on the salad. Make eyes from olive halves and add mayonnaise to the center. Cut strips of antennae from the cucumber and place them on the muzzle.

Step 13

Step 13
Place a piece of whole boiled carrot at the bottom. Make two legs out of cheese and place them on top and bottom of the carrots.

Step 14

Step 14
Apply strips of mayonnaise to the carrots and insert parsley sprigs into the ends. The salad is ready, put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to soak.

Step 15

Step 15
Serve the salad to the table. Bon appetit!
