Simple, only three ingredients, but delicious! Salad with squid, egg and onion is bright and rich, good for a snack or dinner. It also looks good on the holiday table, largely thanks to the soft and tender seafood cooked in a special way.

Ingredients (2 portions)

Basic:

Onion 0.5 pc
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Water 50 ml
Eggs (boiled) 2 pc
Table vinegar 50 ml
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Squid 2 pc

How to make a salad with squid, egg and onion? Prepare your food. Pre-defrost the squids by transferring them from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Boil the eggs and cool. I used red onions, but regular ones will do.

Place the squids in a saucepan and cover with clean cold water. Place the ladle on the stove over medium heat. Wait for the water to boil. As soon as this happens, turn off the heat and leave the squid to cool in the water. Then take it out and rinse under running water. The skin washes off easily and quickly. Also remove the innards and the chorda plate. Squid cooked this way turns out very tender.

Next, take care of the onions. Cut it into thin half rings.

Place in a bowl and fill with vinegar and water. Leave the onions to marinate for 15 minutes. This will remove the bitterness from it.

Dry the squid carcasses and cut into short strips.

Peel the eggs and cut into pieces, similar to squid. Lettuce cut into equal pieces looks more aesthetically pleasing.

Place squid and eggs in a bowl. Place the onion in a sieve and add to other products. Salt and pepper the salad to taste, keeping in mind that it will be seasoned with mayonnaise. Stir.
